Is their a lower limit on size/inductance of spirals that VeloceRF can generate? I am particularly interested in differential coils that resonate at high frequencies (>> 30-GHz). We are designing in TSMC 65nm.
Size (and in essence inductance) limits are generally imposed by the technology and not VeloceRF synthesis. As long as technology permits (referring to DRC requirements) the tool will synthesize the coil no matter how low in size or inductance is. For a TSMC 65nm technology you could safely generate differential inductors down to 50pH resonating well over 30GHz with size less than 15umx15um.
